We Believe:

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

-Scripture is directly inspired by God written through man

-Inspired scripture is simply written revelation

2. The Trinity

-In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

     -1 John 5:7

3. The Gospel Story

-That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That

Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the

     Father as the intercessor.

4. Repentance

-That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and

     necessary for forgiveness of sins.

5. Sanctification

-Sanctification is a setting apart by God

-We are to be in the world but not of the world.

-Sanctification is subsequent to the salvation experience. It happens only through faith in the blood of Christ; through

the word, and by the Holy Spirit.

-Sanctification isn't merely not sinning, it's the absence of the need for sin.

    -1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Corinthians 6:11

6. Holiness

-Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.

-Holiness is the harmony of all the virtues. The Lord has not one glorious attribute alone, or in excess, but all glories are

in him as a whole.  - Charles Spurgeon

-Holiness is really about wholeness. In the process of holiness, the Holy Spirit is up to bringing the whole life of Jesus

Christ into the whole of our personalities so that the whole love of God can be relayed to the whole world.

    -Leviticus 19:2, 1 Peter 1:15-18

7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit

-Baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to salvation.

-In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is an evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

-The life of Jesus teaches us the process of the ultimate filling of the Holy Spirit.

*It started with God the Father bringing conviction and stirring us to repentance.

*Jesus then comes to bring forgiveness and salvation. When we accept Jesus we are forgiven and set free

*After Jesus came and brought the gift of salvation, he ascended into heaven after he specifically told us to wait for

the promise of the Father. And that after him would come one who will live in you.

    -Acts 2, Acts 4:31, Acts 19

8. Baptism in Water

-Baptism in water by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of The Father, The Son, and of The Holy

-This is our public profession of our faith in Jesus Christ

9. Healing

-We believe divine healing was provided for all in the atonement.

    -Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24

10. The Lord's Supper

-We believe in the continual remembrance of what Jesus did for us through the observance of The Lord's Supper

     -Matthew 20:28, Luke 22:19

11. Second Coming of Jesus

-In the pre-millenial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him

in the air. Second, to reign on earth a thousand years.

    -Revelation 20, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

12. Bodily Resurrection

-In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

     -1 Corinthians 15:42-44, John 3:16, Matthew 18:8, Matthew 25:41
